Biography
Suzanne Buzan-Jean Tounille was born in Rouvenac (Haute vallée de l’Aude) in France on 1st June 1945.
1985
After a few years looking after her children, she started working for free for various associations, one of which being an Art Association. She then made her painting debut by joining a class with Master Claude Reynier.
Her intense personal work (approximately 8 hours a day) allows her to experiment with new shapes and colours until she is confident enough to follow her own path and her own inspiration.
1997
Publication of a collection of poems “Un jour, Un rêve” (Nouvelle Pléïade) tracing the life of people she encountered.
1999-2000
After having moved to Céret, a few months are necessary to adjust to her new life (how could she forget about her 30 years in Montpellier?), this new town has a magical impact on her and changes her work to the better: brighter colours, more linear lines start to fill her canvasses. Her work explodes and transforms itself; a new dimension is born once again!
